Feeling Stuck

Did you know that struggling to start and complete tasks can be a sign you are experiencing anxiety? Anxiety can send us into fight, flight, fawn or freeze and freeze mode can make even the smallest tasks feel impossible. To help combat feeling stuck try making a short list of everyday tasks and focus on crossing one off daily (ex. Empty the dishwasher, read one chapter, call one friend, etc.).
The act of checking off tasks and watching the list shrink can help us to focus on our present and help build motivation to move on to the next step.
